FOR TODAY... Monday, March 9

Outside my window...cloudy again with rain on the way.
I am thinking...about the hour we lost Saturday night but thankful for longer evenings.
I am thankful for...more warmer days than cold ones!
From the learning rooms...I realize, once again, how difficult it is to be patient.
From the kitchen...a sour cream enchilada and a few tortilla chips.
I am wearing...a red camisole shirt I got for $2.95 at Maurice's in Gulf Shores, AL and a black pair of warm up pants
I am creating...nada
I am going...to the doctor today and starting tomorrow it's back to the gym!
I am reading...Managing your Moods.
I am hoping...that this week goes fast because April is in Omaha visiting Grandma and I miss her :(
I am hearing..Dan typing on his keyboard. He is home ill today.
Around the house...things are pretty orderly. Just need to clean up the kitchen.
One of my favorite things...tortilla chips and salsa :p
A few plans for the rest of the week: doctor today, several gym trips, another trip to Mound City to get April and bring her back home. That will be either Thursday or Sunday

FOR TODAY... Monday, March 2

Outside my window...the sun is shining but it is cold and we still have a layer of snow from Saturday. It will be gone in a couple of days, though.
I am thinking...about my trip to Alabama this Thursday.
I am thankful for...meteorological spring being here!
From the learning rooms...I am starting a new Bible study today.
From the kitchen...coffee and a biscotti.
I am wearing...my purple Grumpy sleep pants and a pink and gray Thumper pajama top (and socks!) I also have a blanket wrapped around me.
I am creating...ummm...not a thing :P
I am going...to try to hit the gym today and tomorrow because starting Wednesday I won't be able to.
I am reading...Managing your Moods.
I am hoping...that everyone is in a good mood today. Some of us had some grumpy moments over the weekend :(
I am hearing..Maddie on the floor chewing on her bone.
Around the house...my piles are, once again, starting to wander out of their confines. Time to consolidate and throw things away.

A few plans for the rest of the week: a couple of trips to the gym, a drive up to Mound City to meet my mom and Matt and bring Matt home with me (he is going to stay here with April and Ben while Dan and I are out of town), heading to Orange Beach, AL on Thursday!
Here is picture thought I am sharing..this photo was taken exactly one year ago today--the day after we brought Maddie home. She was no bigger than April's shoe!
